You can permanently delete your Talkative account directly from the app:
Open the Talkative app.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap "Delete account."
Confirm twice when prompted.
Once confirmed, your account is permanently deleted. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
02What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes all of the following from Talkative's systems:
Sessions — transcripts, scores, grammar feedback, fluency notes, and improvement tips across all practice modes.
Streaks — current streak, longest streak, and streak history.
Streak milestones — milestone records earned over time.
Vocabulary — every word you saved from feedback sessions.
Level progress — lesson completion and unlock state across the learning path.
Mic balance — your remaining mic credits.
READ progress & unlocks — unit unlock status, lesson completion, pronunciation scores, and words-per-minute results.
Weekly reports — all generated weekly summaries.
Profile data — display name, country, exam date, subscription status, and speaking profile.
The account itself — your login and identity are removed entirely.
03Data held by third-party processors
During normal use, some data is sent to third-party AI processors to deliver Talkative's features:
Groq — receives voice audio for speech-to-text transcription.
OpenRouter — receives transcript text to generate feedback, role play responses, weekly reports, and speaking profiles.
Any data already sent to these processors during use cannot be recalled by Talkative. It is governed by each provider's own data retention policies. Deleting your account removes all data from Talkative's own systems but does not control data held by these external processors.
